Service Descriptions
We have two services on Sunday mornings. The 8:30 am service is a traditional Anglican service following the Book of Common Prayer. It is a simple and prayerful time, quite quiet and full of light.
The 10:30 am service is more contemporary, musical and informal in style. The liturgies are within the Anglican tradition but rewritten with language that reflects the world we live in today. The liturgy is easy to follow and requires no previous knowledge of Anglicanism -- just a heart searching for God. Everyone who joins us in worship is welcome to receive the bread and wine. Lively discussion, fellowship and pretty good food follow the 10:30 service downstairs at the Coffee Hour.
There is a nursery for children up to the age of five at the 10:30 service. Bring your young ones into the sanctuary with you. They will be taken downstairs following the much beloved Children's Time with Bishop Cuthbert the puppet, and then brought back up to join you for communion and the ever popular drumming during the last hymn.
For children in Grades 1-6, our Sunday School called Godly Play starts downstairs as the 10:30 service begins. Ask the Greeter where to go when you come in the door. Your children will return upstairs for communion with you.
